Maine Insights Magazine Notes UMaine Sustainability Award
Maine Insights magazine has included a University of Maine article in its June 29 online edition about a prestigious sustainability and energy-efficiency award the university has received from a national organization that promotes sustainability among colleges and universities throughout the country. UMaine was selected to receive a Second Nature Climate Leadership Award in the doctorate degree-granting university category of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC).
