UMaine Holding Annual ‘Clean Sweep’ Sale May 20-21
ORONO — The University of Maine will hold the annual “Clean Sweep” sale on Friday, May 20, from noon-7 p.m. and Saturday, May 21, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Stewart Commons on Hilltop Road near the Student Recreation and Fitness Center.
Items being sold in the sale were left behind by students who moved out of residence halls in the beginning of May. Items include couches, desk chairs, shelving, TVs, small refrigerators, clothing, shoes, lamps, rugs, small appliances, fans and more. The Bodwell Center for Service and Volunteerism is coordinating the sale with assistance from Auxiliary Services and Facilities Management.
