Mahon Comments on Japan Crises, Economic Repercussions
UMaine business professor John Mahon of the Maine Business School was interviewed for a Channel 7 (WVII) news report this week on the potential economic effects of the crises in Japan. Mahon says the automotive industry, international debt and oil markets, in addition to reconstruction supplies markets, likely will be affected. The Portsmouth Herald also interviewed Mahon Thursday for an article on the subject.
