Events On Tap For UMaine Museum of Art

The University of Maine Museum of Art has two events planned this week. The first, which is part of the museum’s Art@Noon program, will take place Thursday, March 17, with UMMA education coordinator Gina Platt giving a tour and discussing the exhibition “New York, New York: Photographs from the Museum Collection,” along with other works currently featured in the museum’s permanent gallery. The second event, which will take place Friday, March 18, is an Artwalk in downtown Bangor which goes from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The museum will be open with a special lobby exhibit featuring art by printmaker Kris Sader and pastel painter Marcie Bishop.
