Lilieholm in Boston Globe Magazine Forest Story
Comments from Rob Lilieholm of the UMaine School of Forest Resources faculty are included in an extensive Boston Globe Magazine story about the history and future of New England’s forests. The story is based on “Wildcards and Woodlands: A Vision for the New England Landscape,” a 36=page report Lilieholm and a group of other scientists issued earlier this year.
The report calls for a substantial increase in the amount of “permanently protected” forest land in the region over the next 50 years.
