October: Dark Nights, Strange Lights & a Comet

The sun sets early and scenery turns sinister and dangerous, plummeting into the deep ocean to investigate the “Origins of Life” as Jordan Planetarium visitors will discover the first two Fridays this month. The deepest recesses of the universe are dark, too, but ways to view it are explored in “Touching the Edge of the Universe” Oct. 15 and 22. All presentations include a tour of the nighttime sky and constellations and an added feature for October — a comet visible this month.
