Three Women’s Hockey Players Honored
Three University of Maine women’s ice hockey players – sophomore forward Brittany Dougherty, first-year forward Jenny Kistner and sophomore goaltender Brittany Ott – have been honored with Women’s Hockey East weekly awards. Dougherty was named the Pure Hockey Player of the Week, Kistner is the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week while sophomore goaltender Brittany Ott has been named the Women’s Hockey East Association Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the WHEA on Monday.
