Hutchinson Center Expansion Dedication Event Monday Oct. 5

BELFAST — The University of Maine will celebrate the construction of a new wing at its Belfast Hutchinson Center on Monday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. UMaine President Robert Kennedy and others will participate in a brief program and a ribbon-cutting for the addition, which adds classroom and laboratory space, creating opportunities for more academic programming serving the needs of mid-coast Maine.
The new addition nearly doubles the center’s size.
More than 220 guests are expected to attend the event, which will also celebrate the ninth anniversary of the Hutchinson Center’s opening on Oct. 5, 2000.
