Student group leading Sustain Maine license plate campaign
Maine Community Energy Advocates, a student-led organization, seeks to increase support for community-based sustainable energy and energy efficiency programs in the state by establishing a new specialty license plate.
The project has been approved by the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and 2,000 pre-orders are needed to prove sufficient interest for the plates to go into production.
