School of Forest Resources professors write op-ed for BDN

The Bangor Daily News published the opinion piece, “Bioenergy from working forests is carbon-friendly, with many other benefits to Maine,” by Stephen Shaler, director of the School of Forest Resources at the University of Maine; and Robert Wagner, the Henry W. Saunders Distinguished Professor in Forestry at UMaine. Ivan Fernandez, a professor of soil science and forest resources; and Aaron Weiskittel, a professor of forest biometrics and modeling, also contributed to the piece.
