Amy Fried, a political science professor at the University of Maine, was quoted in a Mainebiz article about the state’s gubernatorial race. Fried spoke about independent candidate Eliot Cutler — who is polling last behind Gov. Paul LePage and U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud — and whether she thinks he will drop out of the race. “It’s hard to know if Cutler would drop out.
