Political Scientist Comments In Story On Recalls
UMaine political scientist Mark Brewer was quoted in a Bangor Daily News story about Maine Gov. Paul LePage’s use of recalls to make comments or changes on bills after they pass. LePage has been recalling bills at a higher rate than his predecessor, according to the story. Brewer said the lack of push-back by the legislature, not LePage’s actions, have been surprising.
