2014 Outstanding Graduating Student — Dilasha Dixit
Dixit named Maine Business School’s Outstanding Graduating International Student
Dilasha Dixit of Katmandu, Nepal, is the Outstanding Graduating International Student in the Maine Business School at the University of Maine.
Dixit majored in finance and accounting. Her honors include the Clark Noyes Liscomb ’60 Prize and the Director’s Award for Best Team Work from UMaine’s Advanced Structures and Composites Center.
Her extensive internship experience includes work in brand development with the Carlsberg Group, operations management with the Advanced Structures and Composites Center, financial analysis with Emera Maine and product analysis with Liberty Mutual.
She was vice president of strategy for the Student Portfolio Investment Fund (SPIFFY) and a student ambassador for the Maine Business School. Dixit, a CFA Level I candidate, plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration.
