MeSH Research Resources
The Maine Sustainability Hub is committed to upholding UMaine’s values by contributing to the study and management of complex environmental, social, and economic issues related to sustainability. We seek to create opportunities for students to apply their academic knowledge and experience to research and relevant projects. By compiling resources and information related to general, undergraduate, and graduate research processes, MeSH is working to make research less complicated and daunting, especially for students who may not have much experience. Most UMaine students will need to complete a research project at some point during their academic career, whether for a course, organization, or personal interest. Many students conduct research projects to fulfill their Capstone or Honors Thesis requirements. Being engaged in research can also be a way to assist or inform local and academic communities regarding important and relevant topics. Research is an important part of UMaine’s academic curriculum and dedication to contributing to a sustainable future.
