Throughout the winter high school students from Old Town High School and Bangor High School conducted research on snowpack and snowfall. The students will be presenting their findings. The students and their teachers have been working in partnership with Dr. Sarah Nelson, Dr. Ivan Fernandez, and Dr. Jasmine Saros in cooperation with US Geological Survey and National Weather Service scientists. Their work has contributed to an understanding of local differences in snowfall and snowpack across the State of Maine.
