Caroline Noblet presents to national water resources conference

Caroline NobletCaroline Noblet, associate professor in the School of Economics and Mitchell Center faculty fellow, was invited to present at the National Institutes for Water Resources annual conference, held virtually on February 7-9, 2022.

In Noblet’s talk, “Interdisciplinary Research to address Water Resource Challenges: An example from Maine,” she discussed opportunities and challenges associated with interdisciplinary research, with a focus on the current work of the Maine PFAS Research Initiative. The talk was presented to more than 75 attendees, including state Water Resources Research Institute directors and team members from across the U.S. and its territories.

Mitchell Center Director David Hart, who leads Maine’s Water Resources Research Institute and is a collaborator on the PFAS research, also participated in the conference.
