Mechanical Engineering Technology

The team has finished clearing out the spot we will use for infusions in the AMC. The aluminum piping has been ordered from Bangor Steel and should be received by next week. The team began practicing the infusion process and the parts did not come out as expected. The resin did not cover the entire part as can be seen in the picture because the flow during the process was very slow. More practice runs will be done in the coming week until we are comfortable with the process. The team presented the progress of the project to the rest of the capstone teams.
