Mary Okin

Mary Okin is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and also teaches in Maine Studies and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She has a PhD in Canadian History with a concentration in Women’s Studies. Her research interests include French Canada, the history of the French in Maine, women’s history, the history of psychiatry, and gender construction in society.
