Join us at the Maine Discovery Museum during their “My Day to Play” program on December 8th for a special holiday celebration for children on the autism spectrum and their siblings. Santa and his elves will be here to greet your child in a sensory-friendly environment to make your child’s visit with Santa a memorable one. Discover the Museum and enjoy special holiday activities, snacks, and other surprises.
“My Day to Play” events are a “quieter” time at the Museum when it is closed to other visitors and accommodations support children on the autism spectrum. This FREE holiday event is hosted by the Maine Autism Institute for Education and Research (MAIER) with the support of UMaine student and community volunteers.
