Come experience the Children’s Museum & Theater of Maine in Portland during a low-key, inclusive playtime for children with sensory integration challenges. Play in the Museum exhibits during a quiet time and meet other families from the community.
This is a perfect time for families affected by Autism, Down syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, or other challenges to experience the Museum & Theatre. Museum staff will make special adjustments to the normal exhibit lighting and sound design; noise-reducing headphones will be available. A limited number of visitors will be admitted to ensure a calm and welcoming play environment.
