The Maine Autism Institute for Education and Research (MAIER) Family Partnership program is collaborating with the Maine Bound Adventure Center on the UM campus and the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center of Carrabassett Valley to host an Adaptive Climbing event for individuals and families impacted by autism.
Staff and volunteers are specially trained to adapt their instruction and equipment to meet the needs of your family members in a sensory-friendly environment. So try something new with us, or if you are already a climber, join us for some fun and to connect with other families and friends.
