Nancy MacLean is the William H. Chafe Professor of History and Public Policy at Duke University. She is the author of award winning books including, most recently, Democracy in Chains: The Deep History of the Radical Right’s Stealth Plan for America. Professor MacLean will also deliver the endowed annual Howard B. Schonberger Peace and Social Justice Lecture on “The Origins of Today’s Billionaire Funded Radical Right and the Crisis of American Democracy” at 5:30pm in Minsky Recital Hall.
