Jonathan Fox is the timpanist in the National Symphony Orchestra of Singapore and teaches at the National University of Singapore’s Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. His talk “Living and Working Abroad: Challenges and Rewards” will take place at 8:00 p.m. in Minsky Recital Hall on September 12. Jonathan is an iPhD student at UMaine and he emphasizes the importance of including international opportunities in post-graduate plans to maximize career options to gain a professional, world-wide perspective.
