CLAS Dean’s Reception – Hudson Museum, Collins Center for the Arts
Emily A. Haddad, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites all alumni/ae and their family and friends to the Dean’s Reception, co-hosted by the McGillicuddy Humanities Center.
Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available as alumni/ae, students, and faculty gather to enjoy the beginning of a weekend filled with pride in the college of our hearts always.
Immediately following the reception will be the Maine Heritage Lecture at 5 pm in the Bodwell Lounge, also located in the Collins Center for the Arts. Kathryn Olmstead, Associate Professor Emerita of Communication and Journalism and writer and editor of northern Maine’s own Echoesmagazine, will give a talk about the importance of rural culture in Maine. The talk is open to the public and no registration is required.
