Kevin Roberge, lecturer, recognized by non-traditional students
Kevin Roberge, lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics has been recognized as a faculty member who has contributed to creating positive learning experiences for non-traditional students at the University of Maine.
Nominated by Valerie Cartonio, a nontraditional student, this award is offered by Commuter and NonTraditional Student Programs (CNTSP) and The Nontraditional Student Association (NSA). It is meant to showcase a University of Maine faculty/staff member who has shown sensitivity to the diverse learning styles and the multifaceted lives of nontraditional undergraduate students. Through student interactions, teaching and program design, it is apparent that Roberge has recognized the rich contributions that nontraditional students make to the University of Maine. According to his students, Kevin Roberge has created positive learning experiences for nontraditional undergraduate students.
Roberge will be recognized at the Non Traditional Student Graduation Breakfast on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 8:30 AM – 10 :30 AM in Wells Conference Center. Graduating nontraditional students are invited to this event to celebrate their achievement and each will receive a special graduation medallion.
