About the fair

Join us on April 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Buchanan Alumni House!

The University of Maine’s Center on Aging hosts the Older Adult Health and Wellness Fair during Maine Impact Week to provide wellness opportunities and health information to older adults and caregivers in our community. This two-hour, FREE event will bring together more than a dozen exhibitors and 200+ participants for health screenings, education opportunities, and information about local volunteer groups and older adult services.

If you are interested in hosting a table at the event, please contact Professor Lenard Kaye. There is no cost to host a table at the event. Space is limited and this event fills quickly. 

Older Adult Health and Wellness Fair Sponsorship Program

Sponsorships are voluntary and not a requirement of those who wish to host an exhibit.

How sponsorships help

Sponsorship helps offset the cost of hosting this fair by supporting activities like event promotion, planning and day-of expenses, like refreshments. 

Benefits of sponsorship

• Connect with 200+ older adults from the Penobscot River Valley Area
• Network with more than a dozen university, agency, ngo and business organizations that work to serve the older adult community.

Sponsorship levels

• Blue $100
  The organization’s or person’s name will be acknowledged on the Maine Impact Week website and in social media posts promoting the event. 
• Golden $500
  Blue benefits plus the inclusion of their logo on the MIW website and tagging your organization’s account, if active on a given platform, on social media. A sign thanking your organization for your support with your logo will also be displayed at the refreshment table during the event.
