Leah Cingranelli awarded UMaine Flagship Doctoral Research Fellowship

We are thrilled to welcome our newest doctoral trainee to the lab, Leah Cingranelli! Leah is coming to us from Binghamton University, where they majored in Psychology and worked in the Center for Transdisciplinary Research on Intimate Relationships (CTROIR). Leah’s research program aims to clarify internal mechanisms contributing to disparate health risk behaviors impacting gender and sexual minority individuals. Their long-term goal is to find ways to better treat substance use problems in the LGBTQ+ community.

Leah is funded by a competitive UMaine Flagship Doctoral Research Fellowship awarded to Drs. Patricia Goodhines and Jeffrey Hecker, which is aimed at bolstering the strength and diversity of doctoral training and research at the University of Maine.
