Edmund Doucette, Singer
Edmund Doucette (b. 1894) lived in Miminegash, on the Western side of Prince Edward Island. His father, who was from Tignish, PEI, was the first Doucette to move to Miminegash. The family was of Acadian heritage. Edmund spent time working in the woods along the Miramichi river, and he learned several songs that way.
