UMaine community members are advised to travel to campus only when it is safe to do so in inclement weather.

It is recommended that residential students move in on Monday, Jan. 21, when weather and road conditions are expected to improve. Spring semester move-in continues throughout the week.

On Monday, Jan. 21, the MaineCard Office opens at 7:30 a.m. New Balance Recreation Center opens at 9 and the Bookstore at 10.

To assist new students, an Orientation Help Desk will be available in the Memorial Union lobby 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 21–22.

The 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration, co-sponsored by the Greater Bangor Area NAACP and UMaine’s Division of Student Life, has been canceled for Jan. 21. Organizers are working to reschedule the event for a later date. Ticket holders will receive refunds.
