The American Red Cross emergency shelter at Leonard Middle School, 156 Oak St., Old Town is open for all area community members, including UMaine employees and students. The emergency shelter in the Field House is closed.
Until power is restored in the communities, off-campus students can purchase reduced-priced meals at Hilltop, Wells or York Commons: breakfast, $3; lunch, $5; dinner, $7. Students can present MaineCards and pay at the door.
