Workshop Description

In this workshop, we will share the process we’ve developed to support schools in creating data dashboards that collect and display relevant student data points. Participants have the opportunity to explore Autocrat, understand the overall consulting timeline, and practice the recurring Google Sheets skills as they progress.

Eddie Chen serves as a MassCUE board member, appointed for the term spanning 2023 to 2025, and holds positions on both the Finance Committee and the Spring Conference Committee. Eddie Chen is a District Technology Coach for the Worcester Public Schools. Prior to this position, he taught 7th grade science for 4 years at Worcester East Middle School. Eddie is passionate about bringing citizen science and experiential learning into the classroom. Similarly, he strives to integrate technology use to enhance learning and remove barriers to increasing science literacy. His background in community organizing with environmental nonprofits influences his work supporting caregivers and educators through data informed decision making. Eddie earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Clark University. He is an avid native plant gardener and naturalist.


James Olson is a Director of Human Resources and former District Technology Coach for the Worcester Public Schools. He taught high school ESL at South High School in Worcester MA. James has taught literacy in Mexico, Brazil, and Guatemala. James has an Arts in Teaching at Clark University. He enjoys spending time with his two boys and 15 chickens.
