Zach Connerty-Marin
Zach was a graduate student studying interdisciplinary mathematics at the University of Maine. His research focused on 3D image analysis and biophysics. He joined CompuMAINE in the winter of 2013. He holds a B.S. in bioengineering and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Maine, and defended his masters thesis in mathematics, also at UMaine in May 2017. His masters thesis is titled Automated tracking of marine extremophiles from 3D digital holographic microscopy. He is now pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Yale University.
