Matthew L. Ryckman

Currently, I am an undergraduate at the University of Maine with two major courses of study, Mathematics and History.  Mathematical analysis, particularly Real Analysis, is an area I have been studying through my coursework and outside the classroom.  As for my work with CompuMAINE, I have taken up an interest in the Fractal Properties of Pascal’s Triangle project. Since I am new to this field of research, I am working through reference material to help me better understand the mathematics of fractals, as well as learning programming languages, such as MATLAB, that can aid me in my research.
