Madison Raza

Madison is a masters student in CompuMAINE Laboratory studying Biomedical Engineering. Madison grew up in Nashua, NH and received her Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Maine in Spring 2022. She is a member of the breast cancer project. Her research focuses on investigating the use of the Metric Space Technique (MST) on the output of the (2D) Wavelet Transform Modulus Maxima (WTMM) methodology which extracts the roughness, Hurst (H) exponent, of greyscale mammograms. The MST is being investigated as a possible method for identifying cancerous images. Her work is complete primarily in the programming language R and the image analysis software FIJI. In her free time, Madison enjoys playing games with friends, knitting, cooking, and bike riding.
