Jean-Francois Robitaille

Dr. Robitaille did his masters in Astrophysics at Universite Laval in Quebec City, Canada, under the co-supervision of Dr. Khalil and Dr. Gilles Joncas (who was also Dr. Khalil’s PhD thesis co-supervisor). His 2008 thesis is titled Analyse Metrique de Structure HI dans le Plan Galactique (Metric Space Analysis of Structural HI in the Galactic Plane). Jean-Francois then did his PhD in astrophysics at Laval and then became a postdoctoral researcher at the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester, UK. Since 2018, Jean-Francois is working at the Institut de Planetologie et d’Astrophysique de Grenoble (IPAG) under a 2-year Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship.
