Isabelle Puccio

Isabelle is a Biomedical Engineering undergraduate in the Honors College from Wilmington, Massachusetts and joined the CompuMAINE lab in March of 2024. She joined the CompuMAINE team since she has great interest in human anatomy, and computational technologies.  Her research involves applications of color normalization and deconvolution in conjunction with the 2D wavelet transform modulus maxima anisotropy method to H&E digital pathology slides of human breast and ovarian cancer. Isabelle is currently the treasurer for the biomedical engineering society club, and the fundraising chair for SWE Orono. In her free time, she enjoys playing the French horn, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
