Betelhem S. Abay

My name is Betelhem Solomon Abay and I am one of the international Students at UMaine from Ethiopia. I am a fourth-year Biomedical Engineering Student along with Honors. I have been involved with different research teams at UMaine like the Virtual and Environmental Interaction Laboratory, Dr. Han’s genetics laboratory, and recently I have gotten involved in Dr. Andre Khalil’s CompuMAINE Lab. I am interested in working in areas of bio-inspired engineering and imaging techniques in biomedical patient diagnostics.
