Please join us for a research presentation entitled “Whose Streets? Policing Orange Riots in 19th c. British North America”. In this lecture, Annie will examine the mid-19th century Party Processions Acts through the lenses of social and spatial history and consider the ways in which this 19th-century struggle over public space might contribute to understanding our current historical moment. She invites discussion following the lecture.
