Marie-Hélène Voyer Presentation at University of Maine

On March 22nd Quebec poet Marie-Hélène Voyer spoke with University of Maine students about her latest collection of poetry, Mouron Des Champs. Canadian-American Center Assistant Director  and UMaine Associate Professor of French Frederic Rondeau hosted Voyer in his Quebec Poetry Course. Students were able to hear about her writing process, how family inspired her poetry, and writing as a voice for women. Voyer has a doctorate in literary studies from Université Laval, and she teaches literature at the Cégep de Rimouski.
