Stephen D. “Steve” Eddy, Jr. is the Director of UMaine’s Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research (CCAR) an aquaculture R&D facility and business incubator that has worked with companies since 1999 on range of species including sea urchins, marine polychaetes, halibut, lumpfish, eels, salmon, California yellowtail, and more. With decades of experience as a biologist, he leads CCAR’s efforts to address aquaculture industry needs at industry scale and support Maine’s aquaculture entrepreneurs to launch and scale their operations.
