July Dining Facility Updates
Wells Central is quickly filling its empty shell with character. During the week of July 8th, multiple companies have been on site installing mill work, appliances and shelving for the Central Pub, Sal’s Pizza and eatNow at UMaine. Soon, we will have furniture and products delivered to fill the rest of the empty spaces. Excitement is really building as things are taking shape! The dining services marketing team is also working with the project designers to tailor logos and signs to include campus colors for eatNow, create a pub brand and incorporate the Sal’s Pizza concept into the space. The culinary team is working hard on creating delicious menus and finalizing the virtual dining concepts and product mixes.
At Starbucks, the demolition is complete, which created an empty space to reconstruct. Now, the interior is taking shape with electrical and plumbing done, sheetrock going up and new paint will be coming soon. The smell of fresh coffee is around the corner!
