Description
We have some members that participate in Cooperative Extension programs that provide garden produce to food pantries and cupboards. Some Members participate in Cooperative Extension programs that focus on preservation methods.
We offer Online Master Gardener Volunteer training. Mainers looking to learn more about gardening and volunteering in their community can do so by becoming a certified Master Gardener Volunteer. University of Maine Cooperative Extension is accepting applications for the Master Gardener Volunteers training program in August annually.
We host an academic year field tour and webinar series focused on forest health and forestry & climate change in Maine. Each year new topics are introduced.
