ACM & ACM-W Launch Party – A Look Back
ACM Launch
On December 6th, 2016 we hosted a launch party to celebrate the beginning of our group! The launch party had faculty and students from many different STEM groups attend. At the launch event we discussed what the ACM-W Chapter was founded for and what we planned to do for the first year.
We had Mainely Tech Women talk to the group and a special speaker who shared her personal journey through the work-field. Throughout the event we gave out prizes and discussed how the ACM-W Chapter could benefit those who attended.
