Faculty - Louis Hall

Dr. Hall joined the University of Maine faculty in 1971, following graduation from the Masters in Music Education program at the University of Illinois. He completed his Doctorate there in 1979.

Dr. Hall supervises student teachers; and teaches oboe, saxophone, woodwind pedagogy, conducting, and music education courses. He is active as oboe soloist, recitalist, private teacher, and ensemble member. He is currently principal oboist of the Bangor Symphony and Colby Symphony Orchestras.
