Gov. LePage Visits UMaine, Speaks with Students, Media Report
The Bangor Daily News, WABI (Channel 5) and WVII (Channel 7) covered Gov. Paul LePage’s visit to the University of Maine. The Republican governor, who is campaigning for re-election, spoke on the steps of UMaine’s Fogler Library with a group of about 20 students standing behind him. He shared two ideas for programs he said would reduce student debt and would encourage graduates to stay in Maine, according to the BDN.
