Thaler Moderates Senate Candidate Energy Debates
The Portland Daily Sun and the Portland Press Herald reported on a debate among three U.S. Senate candidates, which was moderated by Maine environmental lawyer Jeff Thaler, the University of Maine visiting
professor of energy law and policy. Independent Angus King, Democrat Cynthia Dill and Republican Charlie Summers debated the future of the nation’s energy and environmental policies in a format selected by Thaler as the best way for candidates to differentiate their positions from one another.
