UMaine-Bound Students Interviewed on STEM

Two students who said they are heading to UMaine were interviewed in a Bangor Daily News article about Maine Gov. Paul LePage’s promotion of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education. Nick Ferguson of Sidney and Derek Caron of Oakland, both seniors at Messalonskee High School in Oakland, said they intend to study chemical engineering and computer engineering, respectively, at UMaine.
