An article in the Portland Press Herald about a winning Madison High School student entry in the recent wind technology challenge held at the University of Maine included perspective from Habib Dagher, direct of the UMaine’s Advanced Structures and Composites Center, which hosted the challenge.
According to the article, Dagher likened the potential economic benefits of offshore wind power in Maine to that of oil in Texas.
