Wesley Bisson
I’m a fourth year Mechanical Engineering Technology student atUMO. I grew up in Biddeford Maine and I also went to high school there. I was in the Biddeford Regional Center of Technology, a vocational school in direct relation with the high school. There I was enrolled in a two year program on drafting and computer aided design, and spent one year to learn the craft of machining with a strong CNC portion.
My years at this university have been spent working not only on personal and class projects but at the Advance Manufacturing Center, an extremely advance engineering and machining facility. However, more recently I have spent a lot of time working at the Advanced Engineering Wood Composite Center on campus where I am solely responsible of an Engle 85 injection molding machine, and wood plastic extrusion.

About: I am a captain of the University of Maine Men’s Track Team. When I am not doing school work I devote most of my time to the team and working out. When I am not doing school work or track I enjoy going to the beach, watching movies and traveling. I currently work at the AEWC, where I mostly test materials and wind blades. When I graduate I would like to work in the energy field.

Hobbies: Many of my interests reside near sea. Fishing has been both a sport and a way of life for me. I enjoy most outdoor activities such as hunting and marksmanship. I partake in a lot of motorcycle riding in the summer and fall. I enjoy swimming and jogging for exercise.
