Clery Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The University of Maine Police Department would like to welcome you to the campus of The University of Maine. This report is intended to provide you with essential information regarding the University of Maine’s programs, services, policies, and statistics about the occurrence of crime on campus, policies regarding sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. Also the disciplinary procedures on campus are explained, and services available to any student are outlined. Our mission is to provide the highest quality services while maintaining a safe environment in which to learn, live, and grow. We see ourselves as educators who provide law enforcement services in support of the mission of the University of Maine. Every contact that is made with the community is an opportunity to educate on the responsibilities of being a productive member of the educational community.

Clery Act Security Training
Campus Security Authorities (known as CSAs) serve a critical role in protecting students and the campus community in general. This video provides mandated training to CSAs about their role in complete Clery reporting.
In addition to the invitation to view this video, the email each CSA receives should include a Clery crime reporting form.
While anyone in the UMaine community is invited to view this video, only Campus Security Authorities have the legal obligations to report crimes outlined in the video below. Citizen involvement is always welcome, of course.
